I thought that the project that I had to share with you today was fitting for a couple of reasons. First of all, the color scheme of this project is Red, White, & Blue. Secondly, the stamp set that was used to create this beauty is called Comfort & Joy. The set can be purchased from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalog. The project was created by Rachel B., a colleague and downline member of mine!
I know that I don’t have to remind everyone of what today is. I can hardly believe that today marks the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attack against the United States. I can remember exactly what I was doing on that day. If you are familiar with the Alan Jackson song, “Where Were You When the World Stop Turning”, there is a line in the song that says, “were you in class full of innocent children……” Well, that is exactly where I was. I can remember the terror on their faces. They were afraid that they were going to die and never see their family and siblings again! Of course I thought of my own family and my own child who also was at school at the time. All I wanted to do was be with her.
What were you doing on that September day?
…………………. Until tomorrow!

Beautiful card Patty, I had just stepped out of my OB's office after hearing Bradley's first heartbeat. And I was scared to bring a child into such a hate filled world. Then the second plane hit and I remember feeling lost and that I would never see my tiny baby…but we are americans and we did prevale…and he's a royal pest and I love him for it!!
