For all of you followers out there that also like to quilt, how about a quilt in a card?!!
I created these beauties as an invitation for a surprise 85th birthday for one of my colleagues’ mother-in-law. When I asked him what his mother-in-law likes to do he said quilting so I went into action and created these!
Having a math background is helpful when you are trying to figure out how big your paper needs to be! I used my 1″ square punch to create the
quilt squares. I knew that if I used them 4 across and wanted them to touch the sides, I needed a 4″ square piece of paper! The DSP that I used is the Everyday Enchantment DSP found in the Sale-A-Bration catalog! The background color for the patterns I chose is poppy parade.
After getting the squares placed just right, I put the whole 4″ square into the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and ran it through the big shot to make it look quilted!
For those of you wanting to get the Everyday Enchantment DSP, you need to hurry because when Sale-A-Bration is over, the paper will be gone!
You only have ONE day left to get your FREE Sale-A-Bration products!!!!
Place your orders directly through my blog or email them to me and for every $150 in orders that I receive, I will randomly select someone to be the hostess to receive the FREE $25 in merchandise!!
