Hello my friends! This week our MDS Challenge was to create a project that celebrates Earth Day or Nature. I couldn’t resist creating a scrapbook page using one of my photos as the background paper! Back in August, Paul and I took our annual bike road trip with our friends Tim & Joan and Bart & Sue and spent four days in the beautiful state of Vermont. Talk about nature and earthy?!!! We stayed in a small town called Warren, VT and there was a beautiful waterfall very nearby the cabin we stayed in. I took this great picture and had to use it as the background for my scrapbook page!
The picture on the top left is of Paul and I in front of the same waterfall; while the one on the bottom right is of us in front of one of many covered bridges of VT…this one called the “Kissing Bridge”. Of course, we couldn’t resist! We put more than 1,500 miles on our motorcycles during this trip and spent a great deal of time in and out of the Green Mountain National Forrest. We experienced, thunder, lightening, pouring rain, and even hail during this trip. We were fortunate enough to have a couple of days of very warm, sunny riding weather too. We drove home (about 8 hours) in the pouring rain. Didn’t mind because I had experienced some of the best riding ever! This year’s road trip will lead us up to Lincoln, NH and the Kancamagus Highway! Hoping to see some moose!
Have any of you done a road trip? How about you create a scrapbook page with them and send them to me so that I can post them?
