I must admit when I first saw the 1/2″ seam binding in our 2010 Holiday Mini Catalog I thought to myself, “what am I going to do with that?” I know however, that if I don’t have it to show my customers, they won’t buy it! So, I purchased all three colors (Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, and Always Artichoke). I must tell you…. I LOVE IT!!
Here is an adorable Christmas card that I created using the seam binding for my focal point!
I used my 2-1/2″ circle punch and then my 1-3/4″ circle punch in the center of that to create the base for my wreath. I covered the circle with adhesive and then took the Artichoke seam binding and stuck it to the adhesive! I then used the Cherry Cobbler seam binding for the bow! Of course EVERY card looks awesome when you dress it up with a Big Shot Textured Embossing Folder! I used the Petals ‘O Plenty for this one! I finished it off with a greeting from the stamp set Word Play.
