Those of you that know me well, know that I do not like to made sympathy cards.  However, in the last couple of weeks I have had many requests to create some.

I got the idea for this card in a couple of different ways.  #1 – you may recall my post from a few weeks ago where I created a bunch of thank you notes using the Tulip embossing folder and a monochromatic color scheme; and #2 I got a card during my swaps a Leadership using the stamp set: Thanks For Caring.

This card is made with Very Vanilla and stamped with Black Staz-On ink.  I also used the Tulip Embossing Folder for the Big Shot, wide striped grosgrain ribbon (black), and you can’t tell from this photo but I also used two of the mini pearls and lots of dimensionals!

I am hoping you won’t need to send one of these…but just in case.
