Today I have a double sharing for you! One is something you would expect and for the other you are really going to have to think outside of the box!
The first card I am sharing is one that is created from the DSP called Paisley Petals. This DSP is only available for the month of April! It can be purchased with a minimum of a $20 order! In additon, the stamp set that was used is also only available for the month of April. It is called Four Frames.
This card is accented with the Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon! I love the fact that our DSP is so beautiful that it can be used as a focal point or background for a card!
Now for something a little different! On Monday, April 25th, I held my most recent downline meeting. This is when all of the members of the Stamp-Patty’s get together to share business ideas, creative project ideas, as well as when I reward them for their sales, promotions, and other significant accomplishments! One of my downline, Megan, decided to bring a project to share with the group! The day prior to Easter Sunday, her husband Tim told her she was not allowed to enter her stamping room because he and their 4 month old son, Tayton, were creating something for her! How awesome is that? Well much to Megan’s surprise on Easter morning was this incredible duo made just for her! (She couldn’t wait to share them with us!)
First came the card! This card was hand drawn by her husband Tim! He traced Tayton’s hands and feet in order to make the hands and feet of the rabbit!
Then came the Easter basket! Of course he used Stampin’ Up! paper!!! He also used her Cricut machine to customize the basket with her name! lol
The basket was filled with crumpled up money! In addition, he used dollar bills to make pinwheels to embellish the handle of the basket!
My hat is off to you Tim! Must have been all of the those men classes you have attended! Keep it up! Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I can’t wait to see what you create for that!
……………. Until tomorrow!
