Today’s card is one that I created merely by accident!  Last month I made swap cards for my club groups and created them on whisper white paper.  At the bottom I had stamped the greeting on all of the card I had cut and then in the final assembly I realized that I had stamped too many.  Rather than toss the cut cards I put them in my paper rack and said, “I know I will use these for something at some point.”

When the time came to create this month’s club projects, I pulled out those white cards I had cut and decided I just needed to cover up the stamping.    At first I was worried that my customers would think I was “cheap” or something!  But it turned out to be a great lesson on how a little “mess up” is just a place for more embellishing!!  LOL

I cut some early espresso paper and ran it through the Big Shot using the square lattice embossing folder.  I cut it on the diagonal and it fit perfectly to cover the previous stamping!  I also used the big shot for the focal point.  The scallop is cut from the Scallop Circle die and the center circle was cut from the circles #2 die also for the big shot!  The colors are Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Old Olive.

The stamp set is called Love and Care.  It is a level 2 hostess set in the summer mini catalog.  There is still time for you to get this beautiful stamp set!!!  I would LOVE to plan a workshop for you and your friends!  Contact me today and we can schedule it!  I only have 4 more days of school so we can even do a morning workshop over some coffee!!!

………………….. Until tomorrow!!
