Well Happy 4th! It is actually Independence Day (for those of us in the United States). For my followers in other countries, this is a federal holiday in the US commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain.
This day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, fun, relaxation, picnics, and family get togethers! We enjoy all of the normal picnic foods like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and if you are part of our family – Clam Chowder and Clam Cakes!!! yummy!!!!
In honor of Independence Day, our MDS challenge for today was to create a celebration of this day! I had fun creating this card! I got to use the fabulous star punch that may have retired from our Idea Book & Catalog but the beauty of MDS is the product in MDS NEVER retires!!! The “firework” in the background has the opacity increased on it so that it is like a water mark in the background! Of course the colors are all American – Red, White, and Blue!
………………….. Until tomorrow!
Cutest MDS card ever, Patty! 🙂
