Hey Stamp-Patty’s friends!  Next week at this time I will be in the middle of the annual Stampin’ Up! Convention!!!  I can hardly believe the time is here already!  While in Salt Lake I will celebrate my 2nd year anniversary as a blogger! That too is unbelievable to me!  Where does the time go?

Today I am sharing a card that I created for a swap that I am participating in while in Salt Lake City.  I belong to the Utah Divas International group and on Saturday night we are all getting together for dinner and are swapping with each other.  This swap is VERY specific!  We have been given specific colors and a theme that we must all use.  Our theme this year is the Nifty Fifties – Think Retro….  Our colors must be: tempting turquoise, pretty in pink, real red, basic black, and whisper white.

What do you think?  Is it retro??  I used the stamp set called Country Side.  It is found in the big Idea Book & Catalog.  In order to get the white glow around the stamped image, I used an aqua painter and filled it with Clorox bleach.  Where ever you brush the bleach it removes the color from the paper!  It is the coolest technique!

When I return from convention, I will surely have LOTS of samples to share with you!

……………… Until tomorrow!
