Hello stamping friends!
Today I am so happy to share a project by one of my downline Margaret L. of Canterbury, CT. I think this is the first time that I have showcased her work. She created this card for our downline swap last week and I love it!
I asked Margaret to share what she used to create this project and here is what she had to say:
Wisper White and Crumb Cake card stock
Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Blissfull Blue, and Chocolate Chip Inks
2 cute little birds from Aviary set
Tree from Take Care set
Middle size medallion from Daydream Medallions set, cut out with die, then cut in half and center hand cut out.
Word Window punch for fence uprights, cross bars just cut with paper cutter
Old small star punch from Marvy Uchida that I happened to have around.
To make the little fence, I found it handy to make a jig by cutting a piece of scrap card stock the width of the card by about 4/8 inch and sticking it to my work surface. I then took my long pieces and put one against the top and the other against the bottom with a strip of glue runner down the length, glue side up. Then I just placed my word punched pickets along it and pulled it off the jig. It really helped to keep it all straight as it moved all over the place until you got at least three pickets on it. Then I sponged a bit of Chocolate chip ink on it to give it a little outdoorsy age. They looked too fake without it.
Thanks so much Margaret for sharing this with me!
……………. Until tomorrow!!!!!
so very creative!!! great job!
