Well, I hope that you have enjoyed these four days worth of Christmas Deer projects!  This is the final one for Monday’s class!

I couldn’t resist doing something totally different….non traditional Christmas colors.  For those of you that know me, you know that I really like non-traditional!

The card base is Not Quite Navy and it is layered with our new Christmas DSP called, Be Of Good Cheer.  This paper is in our big Idea Book & Catalog.

With this project I wanted to really zoom in on the deer’s face and neck…so i could make the studded collar.  Using some very vanilla cardstock and the early espresso ink, I stamped the deer and then used my 1-3/4″ circle punch to capture the area I wanted.  I backed the focal point on a double layer of espresso and not quite navel medallions.  These medallions are from our Perfect Pennants Die for the Big Shot!  Because I also LOVE texture, I just had to add an embossed edge using our Delicate Designs embossing folder! The greeting is stamped in not quite navy ink and I used an image from the “Petite Pairs” stamp set!

……………. Until tomorrow!
