Here is the first of two follow-ups for Thursday’s video.  This project was created using the new Core’dinations cardstock found in the Holiday catalog.

The stamp set featured here is called “Nature’s Walk”.  It is found in the big Idea Book & Catalog.  To accent the woodgrain in the background, I used one of our framelits from the Apothecary Accents collection to stamp on.  Using Early Espresso Ink, I stamped the birdcage.  I then used our marvelous markers in Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple for the floral pieces.  I colored directly on the rubber and stamped once in full ink and then many times in what was left over on the stamp!  I also used early espresso for the bird.  I cut him out, used a sponge to apply a small amount of raspberry ripple to his belly and then did a glittery technique using versa mark ink, heat and stick powder, and a product called Irridensent Ice embossing powder.  I LOVE how the wood grain really makes this project pop!  Tomorrow I will share the 2nd project shown in Thursday’s video!

………………… Until tomorrow!
