So today I thought I would share my project that I am using for a Vintage Christmas Card Swap that I am in!
I got the idea from a swap that I received while I was at Founder’s Circle. It is a simple but very beautiful project and it screams vintage to me!
The base of the card is made from Crumbcake cardstock. It is layered with cherry cobbler and then very vanilla. The background is done with the “En Francais” background stamp in crumbcake ink and then sponged to give it that grungy vintage look.
The snowman himself is done with the 2-1/2″ circle punch in vanilla cardstock sponged with crumbcake ink. His eyes and mouth are done with circle created from our punches and the nose is cut free-hand with a our paper snips and pumpkin pie cardstock.
The Merry Christmas greeting is from the stamp set called, “More Merry Messages” and is done in early espresso ink. Of course I had to have a scarf! It is made with the cherry cobbler polka-dot scalloped ribbon and a vintage brad to finish it off!
…………….. Until tomorrow!
