Today I am sharing one of the fabulous cards that I received as a result of hosting a demonstrator only swap for all of the fabulous products in the new Occasions Mini Catalog!
The first swap that I am sharing with you comes from Catherine S. from Canada! She focussed on the new single stamp called, Swallowtail. I absoutely love the card she created! It is creative, colorful, and full of techniques! She embossed the butterfly with black embossing powder and then used sponge daubers to create some background color on the wings. The card base is made with Island Indigo cardstock; it is then layered with Pool Party cardstock. She used a bit of vanilla seam binding across the back to give a little more dimension.
I must say that I was a bit skeptical of this large butterfly…until I saw this sample and one other that I will post in a few days! I am now convinced that I need to have this stamp!
