Ever create a stamped project that was just too pretty to put away but your friends thought you were silly for keeping it around? Well I have a solution for you!
I love to receive hand-stamped/hand-made projects and I tend to keep them sitting on my shelves, hanging on my refrigerator, or on display in my stamp studio for a LONG time!
A couple of months ago, I got a great tip from a fellow demonstrator on the other side of the country! Instead of doing full card swaps with the members of her downline, she created a small square swap. I decided to give this a try! For our November downline meeting, each attendee brought a 1-1/4″ – 1-1/2″ stamped or punched square with a Christmas theme to swap with each other. At the end of the event, we had 11 squares each. I arranged my squares onto a piece of crumb cake cardstock and found this great frame at Wal-Mart for $3! I added a stamped image and now I have a fabulous piece of wall art that I can hang every Christmas and remember the fabulous girls that helped make it all possible!
My girls loved this idea and we decided to carry on the tradition. At our January meeting we swapped Valentine themed squares. As you will see by the photo below, some of my girls decided they didn’t want to keep it square so then ventured out! I love how my finished wall art turned out!
We are moving on to a Spring theme next! As soon as it is done, I will share it with you all!
Does anyone want to participate in a square swap? I’d be happy to host one and then you all could make a piece of wall art and send me pictures. I could post them here and have a little contest! Winner gets a stamp set! Leave a message on the blog post (no emails) to let me know if you would like to participate!

Love what you did. I can't wait to see what everyone does next month.
