Our one and only, Katelyn, graduated on May 11, 2013 from DEAN College in Massachusetts!  She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Dance and a minor in Business! We couldn’t be more proud of her!  She graduated Magna Cum Laude too!  Although the weather didn’t hold out too long for us, we did manage to get one picture (although not that great of one) of all of us together.  Pictured are my husband Paul, his mom, Katelyn, Paul’s dad, and of course…me.

We waited until this past weekend to have a big bash in her honor!  I couldn’t resist creating a special handmade card for her.  I created this project using our “Pop n Cuts” die for the Big Shot.  I also used our “Dressed Up” framelits!  I have to thank Rolanda (not sure of her last name — so sorry) for the idea to spark this card!

I used our now retired Bravo Burgundy cardstock as well as some basic black and whisper white…as these are her school colors!

The saying on the front is from the stamp set called, “Feel Goods”.  This set originally appeared in our seasonal catalog; however, it was such a hit that it is now in our new 2013-2014 Idea Book & Catalog!

Here is a view of the inside of the card!  When you open the cover, the inside “pops” up!  I created a cap and gown that are hanging on a mannequin form or sitting on a shelf.  I used one of our paper doilies cut in half to look like an area rug in front of the mannequin!

Using the stamp set called, “Pure Gumption” I was able to put some perfect greetings on the inside of the card too!
