Never too soon to start thinking about your holiday cards, is it?

I know if you are like me, I send out nearly 100 holiday cards each year.  For many of my friends, it is the only time each year we communicate with each other.  Because of this, I want the communication to be extra special!

Today’s project is one that we will be doing next Saturday at the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack II!!!  It is my rendition of Santa Claus is Coming To Town!

The card is made from whisper white cardstock.  The second layer is Real Red and is cut 4″ x 5-1/4″.  The “fur” strip is made with whisper white cardstock and is 2″ wide x 4″ long.  His belt is made from a 1/2″ wide x 5-1/4″ long piece of basic black cardstock.  It is weaved through a piece of Silver Gimmer Paper that is punched out with the 1″ square punch and slotted using the paper trimmer! His “buttons” were created using the Build-A-Brad bases and the basic black candy dots from the Neutrals collection!  The final touch is the greeting stamped in versamark ink and embossed with our white embossing powder!
