Now in it’s 6th year, On December 5, 2014, I held my Annual Men’s Night!
This is a night just for the guys! They come and my husband prepares manly food for them — chili, chicken wings, bacon cheesburger dip, buckets of beer and of course lots of manly conversation.
They are great sports and all come into the stamp studio to make a special holiday card for their wives! They then shop from their wives’ wish lists. When the goods arrive, I wrap them and all the guys have to do is pick them up and put them under their tree at home!
Of course I couldn’t post this until after I was sure that all of the wives had an opportunity to receive their gifts! I didn’t want to spoil the surprise for them!
Special thanks to Mike, Kevin, Rene, and Marc!! I had a fabulous time with you guys and can’t wait to do it again next year!
SAVE THE DATE!! – December 4, 2015 !!!
This was the finished product! Using the Woodgrain background stamp, some cherry cobbler card stock, and early espresso ink, I created a “door”. We cut the rectangles and sponged the edges to give it more dimension. The focal point was created using the stamp set called, Wondrous Wreath. If you want this incredible stamp set and coordinating framelits do NOT wait! I will be retired after Monday, January 5th!!
I loved this post. What a great opportunity you created for the guys. Great company, great food, the opportunity to give their wives something they made themselves AND convenient shopping.
@Jean Bullock – THANK YOU so much!!! I truly appreciate your kind words! It really is such a fun time! I think my husband has just as much, if not more, fun than I do!!
