Welcome to another fantastic blog hop!  You are sure to get the feeling that you have travelled to Alaska and that you are right here with us!  Each of us is sharing highlights of the recent SU! trip to Alaska as well as a Holiday Card project or two made with products from the new 2018 Holiday Catalog!!

Alaska July 2018

If you have never been to Alaska, it certainly should be on your “bucket list”!  This was our second trip there — both of which were courtesy of Stampin’ Up!  I should point out that I had to work REALLY hard to earn these trips but without SU! offering the opportunity, I’m not sure I would have done it!  It is amazingly beautiful and I hope with some of my scenic photos you can get a feeling for the amazing calming power that this state has to offer!  From floral, to wildlife, and everything in between it is breathtaking!

With that being said, our trip began in Seattle, Washington where we spent a few days.  We visited the famous Pike’s Market several times!  I can tell you that if I lived in the area, I would have fresh cut flowers in my house every single day!  The bouquets were amazing and so cheap!

After visiting the public market, we ventured over to the famous Space Needle in downtown Seattle!  We not only got fabulous views from the outside but we rode all the way to the top and were able to see an incredible 360 degree view of all of Seattle!

Continuing on, our last stop in Seattle was the Chihuly Glass exhibit!  For any of my local friends that have ever been to the Mohegan Sun Casino, you have seen the work of Chihuly!  Here are a couple of my favorite pix!

Great time in Seattle – but finally it was time to board the Explorer of the Seas and head north to Alaska!  We visited Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and then Victoria British Columbia Canada!

Holiday Catty Project Share

I recently hosted an Alaskan Cruise Achiever’s swap for those that attending the trip and wanted to share ideas made with the goodies we received as gifts.  To thank those that participated, I create a very simple 3 x 3 card as a token of my appreciation!
