Today I am so thrilled to share a Stamp-Patty’s original with you!  I absolutely LOVE the way this project turned out!  I looked into the paper cabinet and said to myself, today I am making a card with a SU! color that I never use…. Poppy Parade!

Not only am I thrilled with the layout of the project, I couldn’t be happier with my blending/coloring using our fabulous Stampin’ Blends!  Of course I couldn’t resist adding Wink of Stella to put the finishing touch on!

The Details

  • Card Base – Whisper White Thick cardstock – 8″1/2″ x 5-1/2″ – scored at 4-1/4″
  • Second Layer – Poppy Parade – 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Third Layer – Whisper White – 3-3/4″ x 5″ – background cut out using the framelit from the Humming Along Bundle
  • Scrap White pieces for stamping the hummingbird and hibiscus flower on

I blended using not only poppy parade but also calypso coral and I even used the color lifter to create my lighted areas.  On the hummingbird I used a mix of clover, pool party, and granny apple green!
