Today I am sharing another original project from my Cheers to That / Sip, Sip Hooray series!  Today’s project came about after I created the project I posted a few days ago. (You can see that by clicking here)  The martini glass for today’s project was originally create from the project a few days ago.  I couldn’t waste it so I decided to create another card using it as the focal point!

I love when a combination of stamp sets can be used to create fabulous projects. This beauty uses the Cheers to That and the Sip, Sip, Hooray bundles from Stampin' Up!

Today I am using the understated Sahara Sand and Mango Melody colors.  The card base and top layer are both created with the Sahara Sand.  The top layer is stamped with the greeting before being embossed with the Subtle 3-D embossing folder.  The liquid appearance of the martini was created using the shimmery crystal effects and the sugar rim was created with a bit of liquid glue and the Ice Stampin’ Glitter!

You Can Make It – Details

  • Card Base – Sahara Sand – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – scored at 4-1/4″
  • Layer – Mango Melody – 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Layer – Sahara Sand – 3-3/4″ x 5″ – stamped with Tuxedo black ink then embossed with Subtle 3-D folder
  • Glass / fruit slice – whisper white – cut using the martini die from the Sip, Sip Hooray dies
