You Can Make It Too!

• Card Base – Basic White – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored @ 4-1/4″
• Layer – Either Petal Pink or Flirty Flamingo – 4″ x 5-1/4″ – Using the Bouquet of Love Hybrid folder and the large heart die, run it through your Emboss & Die Cutting Machine
• Layer – Window Sheets – 3″ x 3″ – glued to the back side of the embossed/cut out heart
• Layer – Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo or Gold Foil – 3″ x 3″
• Sentiment – Basic White – Cut with the label die included with the Love & Happiness Bundle
• Ribbon – 1/4″ Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon
• Foam Strips & shaker Material of your choice

Step by Step

Cut and score the card base then fold it in half.  Run the pink layer through the Emboss & Die Cutting Machine with the Hybrid Bouquet of Love folder and the large heart die.  This will emboss AND cut out the heart at the same time!  If you decide to alternate colors like I did, you will need to repeat the process with another color.  Time to build the shaker!  On the back of the cut out/embossed layer, glue a piece of clear window sheet covering the heart opening.  Once that is dry, go around the back side of the heart with foam strips to create your shaker “cup”.  Add shaker material of your choice.  

Carefully peel the paper off the foam strips and lay your 3″ x 3″ color backing on top to keep the shaker material from falling out.  You should now have a full layer that shakes!  Tie a piece of the flirty flamingo ribbon in a knot along the bottom portion of the card.  Using a piece of white cardstock and the long label die that accompanies the bundle, cut out a label for the sentiment.  Using the Love & Happiness stamp set and some Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp a sentiment.  Add the embossed/cut heart with dimensionals along the bottom right of the window.  Add the sentiment to the left of that also with dimensionals.
