Well, it has been a while!  I have been away from my blog and I apologize!  There are sooooo many things going on lately.  The best of all is the birth of my first grandchild!  This has kept me closer to my family and a bit further from creating.  She was born in November so she is already 3 months old! I can’t even believe it! My Project

My projects today are created with simple stamping in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink so that I could use the Stampin’ Blends to add the colors I wanted.  I couldn’t resist creating one for both a special little girl and a special little boy!  Same card; different colors!

• Card Base – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ – scored at 4-1/4″ Girls card Bubble Bath, Boys card Balmy Blue
• Layer 4″ x 5-1/4″ – Crumb Cake – Girls card embossed with Polka Dots, Boys with Cross Hatch (both from set of 3 folders)
• Layer – Using the Deckled Rectangles, I created the next layer in the same color as the card base
• Layer – White – Using the Deckeled Rectangles, I created the top layer.
• All images stamped in Momento Ink and colored with Stampin Blends; Girls – Bubble Bath, Crumb Cake, Daffodil  /. Boys – Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Daffodil
• For the final touch, I added Bubble Bath (Girls) and Azure Afternoon (Boys) Ribbon
