My Project
It’s that time of year! How about a special handmade card for the special graduate? This project is quick to create, it the perfect size for a gift card, and has a huge WOW factor!
You Can Make It Too!
- Card Base – Color of your choice – 3-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ – Scored at 2-1/8″ & 6-3/8″
- Layer – Cap same color as base – 3″ x 3″
- Hinge for cap – Same color – 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ – scored at 1-1/4″
- Scrap piece of same color – punch a 3/8″ circle for the top of the cap
- Layer – Inside – Basic White – 3″ x 4″
- Layer – Basic White – 2″ x 2″ – cut in half on the diagonal for lapel
- Strips – White for decorating the lapel – 1/2″ x 11″ – stamp in same color as cap/gown
- Gold foil or glimmer paper for tassel
